MATCHMAKING SUCCESS
Steven and Diane Love Story
Share this real life love story.

Both in their sixties, Steven and Diane had already lived full lives filled with love, lessons, and a little heartbreak. Each had spent years in relationships that weren’t quite right, and both had promised themselves that this time, they wouldn’t settle for “almost.”
Diane had an active social life and met plenty of people, but she still hadn’t met the right kind of man. She longed for someone who could match her warmth, intelligence, and spark. Steven, a musician with a gentle soul, dreamed of finding a kindhearted woman who appreciated life’s simple joys, good conversation, laughter, and faith. When his Matchmaker learned how much they both loved music and the arts, she knew she had to introduce them.
Their first date was… memorable. They met at a park, where they walked and talked easily enough, but neither was quite sure what to make of the other. They’d had a nice chat, but separately they both felt a little confused by the pairing. Each left with some hesitation… and yet, something made them both curious enough to awkwardly agree to a second meeting.
Behind the scenes, Steven had doubts whether a second date was the right call. Their matchmaker gently encouraged him not to give up too quickly.
And so they met again. And again. And again. Within weeks, Diane was glowing. She went on Happy Hold, having seen Steven five times and spent more than twenty hours talking with him in just one week. “He makes me laugh,” she said. “And I make him laugh!”
Two years later, they wrote back to share an update that made everyone in the office smile.
“We just wanted to let you know that we are still going on date nights. We’ve lost count of how many! This June marks two years together. We are well, happy, and healthy. Love, laughter, and faith guide our lives every day, and we’re planning on getting married next spring. Thank you for bringing us together.” – Steven and Diane
From uncertainty on a park bench to a partnership filled with joy, music, and faith, Steven and Diane found that love, when given a little patience, can strike the sweetest chord of all.
