Sacramento Zoo $$

Each train experience comes with its own price tag, but all are well worth the cost of admission. Most offerings range from $60-$80, depending on the tier of ticket you opt for. Other pricier options come with a unique experience as well, like a murder mystery train ride.
World Peace Rose Garden (no cost)
What’s more romantic than a dozen roses? How about more than 600 roses? With roses in over 140 varieties of colors and fragrances throughout, and benches to sit on together and admire the views, the World Peace Rose Garden is something from a Victorian romance novel. If that’s not enough to make you swoon, the intimate courtyard, with a fountain and heart-shaped seating area surely will.
Located at State Capitol Park, entry to the garden is free. All you need to have a great time here is a good pair of walking shoes and a love for beautiful scenery.
West Wind Drive-In $
At the West Wind Drive-In, you and your match can snuggle up in the front seat to enjoy a double feature. Head over to the arcade between films, or grab some popcorn to share at their fully stocked snack bar. Drive out to the drive-in for midnight screenings of major releases, and a mix of contemporary and classic films.
Tickets are just $6 each for adults, so don’t forget to stop by the concession for popcorn and candy!
Wild Wood $$
Wildwood chef Fred Haines works with farms in the California region to bring diners new, original ideas using the freshest produce, meats, and cheeses on his Northwest-inspired menus. The bar offers seasonal craft cocktails, rotating beer taps, and a sprawling whiskey wall housing a selection of over 50 fine whiskeys. Have a romantic dinner in their stunning dining room, or head outside to the patio. There, you and your date can cozy up at one of Wildwood’s fire pits and watch a performance by a local musician.

The Firehouse $$$
