The Missouri Botanical Garden is a popular destination in the city—and for a good reason! This 79-acre botanical garden is home to twenty different gardens, hundreds of plants, the 9000-square foot Tower Grove House, and so much more. Spend the day walking with your sweetheart and seeing everything the St. Louis Zoo has to offer. Ride the Zooline Railroad together and chat while you pass animal exhibits. With over 140 species to visit, this is a great spot for animal lovers and, well, lovers.

A visit to Grant’s Farm brings back fun childhood memories of petting zoos and learning about animals. The experience includes a tram ride past “our bovine and other four-legged friends,” then on to the petting zoo area, where you can bottle feed a baby goat and so much more. After that, check out the free beer tasting and the food and vendor booths. General admission is free, although some special events require purchase of a ticket.
