Like I had known him forever

He was my very first date and I was his 5th. Within 15 minutes, conversation was flowing and both of us were feeling comfortable. Our first date lasted 3 hours and our second dinner date, three days later lasted 6 hours. Within the first week, we met 4 times and it felt like I had known him forever. Time will tell, but at this point, I’m having a lot of fun and so is he. That’s the point of our relationship as both of us lost our spouses. Mine after 43 years and his after 54. Life can still be fun and exciting!!
